La música pop (del inglés pop music, contracción de popular music) es un género de música popular que tuvo su origen a finales de los años 1950 como una derivación del tradicional pop, en combinación con otros géneros musicales que estaban de moda en aquel momento. Los términos música pop y música popular se usan a menudo de manera indistinta, aunque el segundo tiene un sentido más amplio al dar cabida a otros géneros distintos del pop que se consideren populares.
Destiny Hope Cyrus (Franklin, Tennessee, 23 de noviembre de 1992) mejor conocida como Miley Ray Cyrus, es una cantautora y actriz estadounidense. Después de interpretar papeles menores en la serie de televisión Doc y la película Big Fish en su infancia, se convirtió en una ídolo adolescente al darle vida al personaje Miley Stewart en la serie de televisión Hannah Montana de Disney Channel en 2006. Su padre Billy Ray Cyrus también actuó en la serie , que se emitió durante cuatro temporadas hasta 2011.
Cyrus ha colocado tres álbumes en el número uno en el Billboard 200 de Estados Unidos con Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008) y Bangerz (2013).
