Rock en español es la música rock compuesta e interpretada en castellano. A diferencia del rock en inglés, el rock en español ha logrado tener éxito mundial en pocas ocasiones, y muchas veces ni siquiera entre países de habla hispana. Por eso el rock en castellano se ha desarrollado de manera heterogénea en las distintas naciones hispanohablantes; quedando así la música de muchas bandas para uso casi exclusivamente nacional hasta la llegada de la globalización de contenidos multimedia acentuada por la generalización de internet y desarrollada especialmente en el siglo XXI.
Bee Gees es un grupo musical Ingles por los hermanos: Barry Gibb, nacido el 1 de septiembre de 1946 (inglaterra) y por los gemelos Robin y Maurice Gibb, nacidos en 1949 (Inglaterra). En la década de los cincuenta comenzaban a actuar en público en pequeños conciertos en Australia. El nombre de Bee Gees se debe a las iniciales de Brothers Gibb (hermanos Gibb), que son BG y en inglés se pronuncia Bee Gees.
En 1958 la familia de los Gibb se muda a Brisbane, donde los hermanos siguen desarrollando sus actividades artísticas. Así, después de tocar en diversos clubs, en el año de 1966 consiguen su primer número uno en Australia con el tema "Spicks and specks". Un año después regresan a Inglaterra.
