Punk es un estilo y movimiento generalmente asociado a la música punk rock que se caracteriza por su discurso de desafío y desprecio hacia las normas y conductas sociales establecidas,adoptando ropas, peinados y maquillaje irreverente y agresivo en forma de protesta. La palabra punk nace alrededor del año 1690 del inglés americano usado para describir algo o alguien sin importancia ni valor. Se populariza con el surgimiento de la música punk rock.
Existen por lo menos dos artistas con el nombre Alphaville:
1)Alphaville es un grupo de música alemán de Synth-pop que fue muy popular en los años 1980. En un principio se llamaban Forever Young pero a la hora de sacar el primer disco, decidierón llamarse Alphaville. La composición original del grupo estaba formada por los siguientes artistas: Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd y Frank Mertens. Este último, ante la presión del éxito del primer disco, no aguantó y abandonó el grupo. A partir de 1982 empezaron a publicar singles como "Big in Japan" y "Forever Young" pero no sería hasta 1984 y después del rotundo éxito de sus dos singles, cuando publicasen su primer álbum. La salida de Mertens en diciembre de 1984, provoco el inminente fichaje de Ricky Echolette y el primer disco con el en el grupo y segundo de Alphaville seria Afternoons In Utopia en junio del 86 precedido del éxito del tema Dance With Me.
