Pop rock es un genero musical que combina melodías y letras típicas de la música pop con elementos propios del rock como son una mayor presencia de guitarras eléctricas o un ritmo más fuerte. Existen diversas definiciones para el término que van desde una forma más lenta y suave de rock hasta un subgénero dentro del pop.
t.A.T.u. (en ruso Тату) es un dúo de cantantes rusas, formado por Yulia Vólkova (Юля Олеговна Волкова) y Lena Katina (Eлена Cергеевна Катина), unidas también por una amistad de más de 10 años. Su música podría encuadrarse dentro de la electrónica y el pop/rock, con estribillos propios del pop. Algunas de sus temas podrían clasificarse dentro del dream pop (como «Gomenasai»). Su mayor éxito internacional fue la canción All The Things She Said (2002), a la que siguieron éxitos como Not Gonna Get Us y All About Us.
El nombre de t.A.T.u., en ruso (Тату), es un juego de palabras rusas que en español significa «esa chica ama a esta chica».
