El eurodance es un subestilo de la música dance, típico de los 90 (1992-1996) en Europa, Oceanía y Sudamérica. Sus orígenes están en el dance y el pop. Es un estilo que aunque es dance, es muy comercial (el dance normal no lo es), sus canciones suelen ser bastante radiadas y populares. Estas canciones, se suelen incluir, además de recopilatorios dance, en recopilatorios de pop. Suele tener voces femeninas, trozos masculinos rapeados, o voces masculinas (menos común).
Con sus inicios anclados en la música industrial de finales de los ochenta y en el terrorismo digital-político posterior, Jack Dangers figura como máximo responsable de Meat Beat Manifesto (MBM). Inglés, pero residente en San Francisco desde hace más de una década, este vegano declarado consiguió junto a Jonny Stephens (formación original de MBM) ser referencia ineludible para géneros como el drum and bass y el trip hop, estilos eminentemente británicos que tuvieron su punto de máximo apogeo durante los noventa.
MBM se caracterizaron por usar desde 1987 técnicas de "cut and paste" propias del hip hop y dub, y exploraron sus posibilidades en géneros electrónicos emergentes como el tecno, el trip hop y el jungle. Sus primeros pasos se distinguieron por una "sampledelia" densa y actuaciones en vivo que incluían hasta trece músicos en el escenario; su música se movía entre el dub energético, el break beat heredero del hip hop y el noise rock, siendo una influencia para los futuros Chemical Brothers y Atari Teenage Riot, y alimentando las maletas de maestros de los platos como DJ Krush, Cut Chemist o DJ Quest.
