El eurodance es un subestilo de la música dance, típico de los 90 (1992-1996) en Europa, Oceanía y Sudamérica. Sus orígenes están en el dance y el pop. Es un estilo que aunque es dance, es muy comercial (el dance normal no lo es), sus canciones suelen ser bastante radiadas y populares. Estas canciones, se suelen incluir, además de recopilatorios dance, en recopilatorios de pop. Suele tener voces femeninas, trozos masculinos rapeados, o voces masculinas (menos común).
Ace of Base es una de las bandas suecas más exitosas de la años 90s. Gracias a su originalidad de sus melodías lograron llegar al número uno en todo el mundo. Su álbum debut "Happy Nation" (1993) y sus ediciones posteriores lograron vender más de 23 millones de copias, y actualmente figuran en el libro Records Guinness como el "El álbum de debut de gran éxito con mayores ventas en el mundo". - Actualmente la banda promociona su 5ta producción "The Golden Ratio" (2010)
La formación original de Ace of Base estaba compuesto por los hermanos Berggren: Jonas (aka: Joker) (composición, guitarra y teclado), Malin (aka: Linn) (voz, teclado, composición) y Jenny (voz, composición), además de Ulf Ekberg (aka: Buddha) (composición, teclados, percusión). Luego de la retirada de las hermanas Berggren, el cuarteto lo completan dos nuevas vocalistas, Julia Williamson y Clara Hagman.
