La música electrónica de baile, EDM (por sus siglas en inglés electronic dance music), música club, música dance, o simplemente dance, es un conjunto de géneros de música electrónica, como el house, techno, trance, eurodance, italo-disco, dance pop, entre otros. Orientada principalmente al baile, se caracteriza por estar realizada con sonidos sintéticos y organicos pre-grabados en un estudio, y por sus ritmos bien marcados y repetitivos y con letras pegadizas, pudiendo incorporar voces o ser música instrumental.
El guitarrista Jasun Tipton y el bajista Troy Tipton,dos hermanos de Bay Area (San Francisco) se dedicaron a formar una banda de metal progresivo, que este género en su lugar de honor y, que rompía el molde en el proceso.Así se creó Zero Hour, en los que se prevé una vibra emocional, oscura,pesada, expresada a través de intrincados arreglos y letras significativas.
