La música electrónica de baile, EDM (por sus siglas en inglés electronic dance music), música club, música dance, o simplemente dance, es un conjunto de géneros de música electrónica, como el house, techno, trance, eurodance, italo-disco, dance pop, entre otros. Orientada principalmente al baile, se caracteriza por estar realizada con sonidos sintéticos y organicos pre-grabados en un estudio, y por sus ritmos bien marcados y repetitivos y con letras pegadizas, pudiendo incorporar voces o ser música instrumental.
Afrojack (18 de Enero de 1987), cuyo verdadero nombre es Nick Van de Wall, es un DJ y productor de música House. Afrojack comenzó muy temprano para sumergirse en la música: a los 5 años comenzó a aprender a tocar el piano. Más tarde, durante sus estudios, dedicó la mayor parte de su tiempo a escuchar todo tipo de música. Más tarde se dirigió a la creación musical.
Nick Leonardus van de Wall (South Drain, Surinam; 9 de septiembre de 1987), más conocido como Afrojack, es un rapero, DJ y productor neerlandés de EDM y Detroit. En 2022 ocupó el puesto #6 en la encuesta realizada por la DJ Magazine. En 2007 fundó la discográfica Wall Recordings. También es el CEO de LDH Europe.
