Every day she wakes up and begins to have a conversation
With herself
Little pig and teddy bear sit beside her glasses there
Upon the shelf
Grabbing all her toys, she lines them up in rows
Flying out the door, running barefoot in the snow
There she goes
She likes to go out in the garden and pretend that she's the leader
Of the band
Singing to her favorite tune, tugging on a big balloon
With dolls in hand
The places in her mind is where she likes to hide away
But inside her heart I know she's dying for someone
To come and play
Periwinkle, lavender
Violets, many shapes all talk to her and say
It's okay
Ava
She sits alone and stares out of the windows in the bus
On the way to school
She says it doesn't matter when the bullies laughing at her
Kids can be so cruel
Daddy I don't understand the way I'm supposed to be
When we're on the playground all the kids are having fun
But not with me
Colors dancing to the Sun
Of rainbow tears falling upon the ground
And I can't help but sigh
And pray that she will be alright
If I could make one wish come true
I'd bring her to a world where everyone knew her name
And played her games
And love her like I do
If I could make one wish come true
I'd bring her to a world where everyone knew her name
And played her games
And love her like I do
