Keeps me from falling asleep
Signals motion me under
But inside something is trying to speak
Leaves paint the floor
Falling from broken limbs that cover me
Light draws color to the ground
Where I drop to my knees
The sun sinks in into the tress
As the night sinks its teeth into me
I'm falling to my knees
