Talk of the Town

i've seen come around
it's not what I expected
i guess I must have known all along I'd always be rejected
now I see who's for real for twice in my life
at least I've got some sort of direction in my life
and I'm not pinned down cause I know what I want
and I know how to get there
no one's gonna tell me what to do or what I've done
