But a lot people think that theirs is the only way

A false sense of community, a vulgar sense of pride
Stagnation of purpose, corrosion of the mind
A lingering obession, a sighted type of blind

I don't want to be so static
Life and death are far too erratic

Focus on hereafter, whatever that may be
Life is not considered in terms of quality
They say: If you don't believe this, then you'll be sorry when
You are dead and buried, and who will save you then?

I do not believe this, it's perposterous and vain
