The cross of my heritage still stands today
The symbol of my people and what they had to say
From the farmer to the warrior, the cross was theirs
For the tribes of Europe this is what they shared

With pride they built the monuments of their
beliefs
On a green hillside in the land they loved they could still be seen
The blood of my ancestors is from where I came
And the spirit of their culture is in the flag we wave

With a sword on the battlefield they could be
brave
But with a shield and their emblem they would be saved
For my land and heritage I live today
And the glory of history belongs to me

A war song of supremacy and lineage
Filled the troops with fury and battle rage
The song survived and we're the tribes of today
And we stand behind the same design our forefathers made
